About Us

Highlander (Scotland) Ltd, was established over twenty years ago in Edinburgh based on the ethos that every one of its products has one common essential attribute - each must perform its task exceptionally well, as well as truly doing the job it was designed for without any loss of performance.

From the humblest of beginnings, the 'real' offices of the Organisation are the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, the world's most rugged testing ground. It is there that the Organisation develops and refines its products and proves time and time again that you don't have to pay inflated prices if you want to own the best.

The Highlander brand is a registered trade mark and stands for dependability, quality, value for money and conclusively proves that the best need not cost the most. Very few brands in the United Kingdom carry the same number of ranges as Highlander, so carefully targeted across all levels of price and performance to satisfy the demands of the largest and most profitable sectors of the outdoor market.

The Highlander's warehouse and office complex consists of over 80,000sq.ft. dedicated to storage, picking, packing and despatch as well as the capacity to store a huge quantity of backup stock.

The Highlander has developed and implemented a quality assurance system that is registered to the BS EN ISO 9001:2000 quality standard. The system is constantly reviewed, evaluated and audited to establish greater efficiency and component quality, without taking short cuts or using inferior processes, products or materials.

Despite the breadth and depth of our range, we still design, manufacture and supply own label bespoke products for our larger customers from our worldwide supplier network. Give us your design brief, your target price and we will do the rest for you.

The Highlander is based in a dedicated industrial unit in Livingston, West Lothian with customers based throughout the United Kingdom , Ireland and Europe .
